SM2633 MANDATE LONG JACKET

The Mandate Long Jacket is a study in control where structure becomes ornament, and ornament becomes structure.

Cut in a clean A-line silhouette, the piece falls from a defined shoulder into a long, uninterrupted line, crafted in Japanese Moonlight Crepe with a matte surface and quiet architectural presence. The body remains intentionally restrained allowing the design to concentrate its expression at the chest.

A vertically structured panel defines the front: four precise rectangular frames constructed in braided cord, aligned with exact symmetry. At the centre of each, a traditional pankou knot fastening introduces a subtle cultural reference, while soft cord tassels extend downward, the only element permitted movement within an otherwise composed design.

The mandarin collar rises close to the neck, continuing the vertical line seamlessly. Sleeves are finished with double turn-back cuffs, adding weight and refinement, while discreet side slits ensure ease without interrupting the silhouette.
